2009-2010 ASI goals

1. Increase Communication
ASI strives to increase communication between students, administration, faculty and staff in order to ensure that all parties involved at Fresno State can be actively engaged in what is happening at our University and in the Fresno Community. ASI has begun this by holding open forums and Town Hall Meetings.

2. Shared Governance
ASI is charged by Dr. Welty to be the shared governance hub. ASI is responsible for placing students on over 85 campus committees and making sure students are involved when tough decisions need to made.

3. Increase Student Involvement and Participation
ASI would like to see students involved with different campus events and get students to participate in these events. We not only want students to succeed in the classroom, but outside the classroom too.

4. Shared Investment
ASI strives to fund many programs at Fresno State through club funding and new programs. We are dedicated to these programs and want them to continue to grow and enhance student's lives and experience here at Fresno State.

5. Create a Safe and Green Fresno State
Many students live on or near the Fresno State campus.  Making these areas safer is vital to the Fraternity and Sorority housing and many other students. Continuing to partner with the City of Fresno on the El Dorado Park Neighborhood is crucial. We also feel that it is important to encourage students to practice green habits that are essential to preserving our enviornment.
